Introducing Sugar Hill Finan the Agile
We are thrilled to present Sugar Hill Finan the Agile, a colt who embodies excellence in every way! His dam, WHR Sugar Hill Teagan, has an amazing production record—having produced a GVHS 5-Star rated horse, a very high 4-Star rated horse, a GVHS Medallion of Quality recipient, multiple National champions, and grand champions in both halter and pleasure divisions. Every one of her mature offspring that has entered the show ring has earned a championship title, making her one of the most consistent and proven producers in the breed.
Finan’s sire, WR Ranch's GVR ER’s Pilot by Latcho, also brings impressive credentials to the table. Pilot is not only the son of the legendary Latcho Drom, but is out of Equirace Gypsy, an exquisite mare whose influence is unmistakable. We have admired Pilot since we first saw videos and pictures of him, but when we met him in person, he absolutely blew us away—his conformation, presence, and temperament are everything we value in a stallion. To make his pedigree even more special, Pilot is also a full sibling to one of our favorite mares, adding another layer of meaning to incorporating these bloodlines into our program.
Finan is already showing off his correct conformation, beautiful movement and sweet, gentle nature. As the cold New York winter begins to give way, we’re eager to see him shed that thick winter coat so we can really see how he is maturing. This summer, we’ll be assessing Finan closely with the potential of keeping him as a future herd sire at Sugar Hill Acres. However, we are also entertaining serious inquiries from the right home.
With his proven, power-packed pedigree, strong structure, and unbeatable disposition, Finan is truly a colt with a bright future. We’re proud to have these bloodlines in our program and excited to see where his journey will lead.
