Introducing Teagan, the heart and soul of Sugar Hill Acres, whose presence marked the inception of a dream come true. From the moment we laid eyes on her at seven months of age, Teagan captured our hearts and set the wheels of fate in motion.
For over a decade and a half, I had harbored a deep desire for a Gypsy Vanner of my own, and meeting Teagan was the realization of that dream. Visiting West Hill Ranch in search of a tobiano gelding, my husband Dan and I found ourselves drawn to the little black filly who abandoned her hay to seek affection from us. After just two visits to her stall, we knew she was destined to join our family, and thus, Sugar Hill Acres was born.
Teagan's lineage is a tapestry of greatness, with her mother Maggie (now deceased), selected by Mechelle Barton at the Appleby Fair and imported shortly after, and her father, the breathtaking maximum sabino stallion Son of Lloyds. Her ancestry boasts names like Superior, Lloyds, Vines Bay Mare, Vick Lawrence's Stallion, Paleface, Lob, and Henry Horse, among others. With such esteemed bloodlines, Teagan was destined for greatness.
Undergoing seven months of professional training at a Morgan Show barn, Teagan impressed all with her demeanor, athleticism, and beauty. She blossomed into the remarkable mare we are proud to call our own, embodying sweetness, intelligence, impeccable conformation, and an abundance of flowing mane and tail.
Teagan's legacy extends beyond her own accomplishments to her exceptional offspring. Her firstborn, Sugar Hill Ailish West, by NatWest, has garnered acclaim in the show ring under the loving care of her owner Michele in Ohio. With multiple Grand Champion and Supreme Champion wins, including a Gypsy National Championship Grand Champion title, Ailish is a testament to Teagan's excellence as a broodmare.
Teagan's subsequent foals, including Sugar Hill Daylight Dancin’ Bowie, Sugar Hill The Mighty Cuinn, and Sugar Hill The Divine MacTeag, have all inherited her exceptional traits and are making waves in the show ring. From Grand Champion titles to Gypsy National Championship Grand Champion accolades, Teagan's offspring continue to shine, carrying on her legacy with grace and distinction. Every one of her foals that has entered the show ring has earned a championship.
As a very high 4-star mare, Teagan has proven her worth as a producer of outstanding foals, each one a testament to her impeccable pedigree and nurturing care. With her legacy firmly established, Teagan stands as a beacon of excellence in the Gypsy Vanner community, her influence resonating through the achievements of her progeny and the hearts of all who know her.
Teagan a very high 4 star mare, has produced four outstanding foals. Her foals are excelling in the show ring with two Gypsy National championship Grand champion offspring.
